ሻዕቢያ በሱዳን ሃምዳይት በኩል አድርጎ ያሰማራቸው የሽብር ቡድኑ አባላት ቀደም ሲል የነፍስ ማጥፋት፤ ስርቆትና መሰል ወንጀሎችን ፈፅመው በኢትዮጵያ መንግስት ሲፈለጉ የነበሩ ሲሆኑ የኢሳያስ መንግስት ለረጅም ግዜ በሽብር ተግባር አፈፃፀም ዙሪያ ስልጠና ከሰጣቸው በኋላ በተለይም በትግራይ ክልልና በዋና ዋና ተቋሞች ላይ ጉዳት እንዲያደርሱ የላካቸው ናቸው፡፡

Ethiopia Says A Rebel Attack Quashed In Northern Ethiopia

Ethiopian State Media have said that a rebel attack in the Northwestern part of Ethiopia has been quashed by the Ethiopian security forces.
State owned media, quoting the Tigray Region police, said a “a terrorist” group that is backed by the Eritrean government was defeated while attempting to infiltrate through Northern Western Ethiopia.
The State Media said the leader of the group and four other members of the unnamed rebel group were killed while the other four were captured in Bereket,Humera, Northern Ethiopia on June 2, 2o13. In addition, the Region’s police has captured three M14, six Kalashnikovs, 15 hand grenades, four mobile phones, 2490 bullets and Ethiopian birr.
Last week, the Ethiopian People’s Patriotic Front (EPPF), a rebel group that fights to unseat the Ethiopian government through an armed struggle, had claimed that its “Nebelbal Force” had attacked government soldiers and militias in Luged and Bereket, Humera, Northern Ethiopia on June 1 and 2, 2013. The claim was not refuted by the government then.
EPPF had said in a statement that the Front had warred with the 35th Brigade of the Ethiopian Defense Force and militia for eight rounds. The Front had said 148 soldiers had been killed and 374 were wounded from the Government’s side. It had also captured 31 Kalashnikovs, 47 hand grenades, 2 snipers and different military equipments.
